Here's the front gates of the University of Fort Hare in
Alice, South Afrika. The rest of the campus was surrounded by barbed wire,
which kept out the unregistered students while the demonstarations were
happening early in the year. |

This was my set up in my room. There wasn't too much more
to it than this, on the other wall was my bed and that's it. Notice the
hotplate (I cooked right there in my room every day) the laundry detergent
on the bottom shelf (I did my laundry by hand just like everyone else.)
I have a lot of fond memories from this room. |
