Asteroids

Of all the asteroids that we have discovered since Ceres, none have surpassed it in size. Ceres contains approximately 25% of the mass of all of the asteroids put together, including the hundreds of thousands that are likely to exist that are too small to be viewed from the Earth. However, in August 2006, Ceres was officially dethroned as the largest asteroid when it was reclassified as a dwarf planet, making Vesta the new "King of the Hill".

Here is a small listing of asteroids, along with some data about them. The distance column refers to the mean distance to the Sun and is listed in thousands of kilometers, all masses are given in kilograms.
