Crossroads

Silent Discord, floating through the air
Seeds of war, waiting to be freed
Words that were never meant to be said
From the loud mouths of life

Dreams truned into fields of winter
Happiness sent adrift to the see
The barricades of communication
Breaking the glass of life

I never meant to start it all
I never wanted to say these things to you
Now that you are away
These painted walls laugh at my misfortune
And i am here, again, gazing out to oblivion...

Black clouds of life come shade in our lives
Letting out the rain of disaster
That's breaking the steep roads we always took
Shattering the southern pass

Everything people say, everything people do
It just seems to fall down
And in the ruins created by fate
Will be born the birds of life

The ruins cannot be reborn, but life can live again
Roads can be rebuilt in time
Even if the tide is hard and the river furious
And since you left, the walls changed
From white to shifting coulours

All coulours, reflecting from my heart,
Broken down for you
Trying to get you back to the hillside
Where life rools and brings you high
Times might change, but i'll wait at the crossroads
-- I would rather see that as a song than a poem. It's the first time that i write something like that in quite some time, and i must admit, it's been hard. This text is not the cest i've done, but still, i'm glad i'Ve done something like that.
