Father: John Neville (1322), 5th Baron Neville of Raby. Mother: Maude de Percy (1324). 1st Wife: Margaret Stafford (1365-6-9-1396); daughter of Hugh Stafford, 2nd Earl of Stafford. Son: John Neville (1387); Wed Elizabeth Holand, of Kent. Son: Ralph Neville (1389); Wed Mary Ferrers. 7 daughters: Mathilda, Philippa, Alice, Elizabeth, Anne, Margaret, Anastasia. 2nd Wife: Joan de Beaufort (1379); Wed: 2-20-1397; Daughter of John of Gaunt. Previously married to Robert Ferrers. Son: Richard Neville (1400), Earl of Salisbury. Daughter: Anne Neville (1402); Wed: Humphrey Stafford. Son: William Neville (1403); Baron Falconberg, Earl of Kent. Son: Robert Neville (1404), Bishop of Salisbury and Durham. Son: George Neville (1405), 1st Baron Latimer. Son: E dward Neville (1407), 1st Baron Bergavenny. 3 Sons: Not named, died young. Daughters: Joan, Catherine, Anne, Eleanor, and: Daughter: Cecily Neville (5-3-1415), 12th, and youngest daughter. She married Richard Plantagenet ( 1411), Duke of York. Their eldest son Edward Plantagenet (4-28-1441) became King Edward IV of England, on 3-4-1461. Their 3rd son, George Plantagenet (1449), married Isabel Neville (1452), daug hter of Anne Beauchamp and Richard Neville (1428), son of Richard Neville (1400). Their 4th son, Richard Plantagenet (1452), married Anne Neville (1456), sister of Isabel Neville (1451), who was previo usly married to Edward, Prince of Wales. On 4-9-1483, King Edward IV died, and his brother, Richard (1428) succeeded him as King Richard III of England on 6-26-1483--only to be slain two years later on 8-7-1485, during th e Battle of Bosworth. Cecily Neville Plantagenet, Duchess of York, died at Berkhamsted Castle, on 5-31-1495. Note: Baron Ralph Neville was appointed as the 1st Earl of Westmoreland on 9-29-1397, by King Richard II (1367-1400).
