According to TV.com, Robert Gant's episode of "Nip/Tuck", titled Magda and Jeff, will air Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at 10:00 PM on the FX channel. Check your local listings for times in your area. As reported earlier, Sharon Gless will go topless in that same episode, starting a 4-episode arc. She will play a Hollywood agent trying to win a date with TV surgeon Dylan Walsh - and attempts to charm him by asking him to judge her breasts. Gless says, "I do have the opportunity to reach in and expose my breasts, which I'm going to do and I'm sort of looking forward to it."

Scott Lowell will be appearing as legendary critic Kenneth Tynan in Orson's Shadow, a play written and directed by Austin Pendleton (who also penned "Uncle Bob," in which Gale Harold appeared a few years back). The play will run at the Pasadena Playhouse in California from January 11 through February 17, 2008. It is an ingenious tale of two Hollywood giants – Orson Welles and Laurence Olivier. Tynan, Lowell's character, has made a startling proposal: Welles should direct Olivier and the young Joan Plowright in Rhinoceros, Ionesco’s absurdist masterpiece. But it is the rehearsal process that brims with absurdity as titanic personalities, including Vivien Leigh, wrestle the muse. Based on an actual event, Orson’s Shadow is a witty and incisive depiction of the drama of theatre. More info in this article from Playbill.com.

Paige stars as "Miranda," while Verraros takes on both male and female roles for the film. The film will be shot on location in Rio de Janeiro, and is scheduled to commence principal photography in March 2008. Roberto Jabor, who wrote the script, will direct.

The focus of the November 2007 issue of BLADE (Orange County and Long Beach's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender magazine) is "Building a Bright Future for LGBT Elders," written by Lance Webster, featuring an interview with Robert Gant ("Ben" on QAF), who is devoting much of his time and energy these days to issues regarding gay and lesbian elders. "I've always wanted to be of service," Gant tells the Blade. "Queer as Folk gave me the platform and opportunity. I began collecting brochures and information from various organizations, looking for the right cause to support." He goes on to say, "We as gays have to deal with our fear of not being loved, of loneliness, of growing old. It's especially true for people who have been marginalized, and even more important because of our culture's emphasis on youth and beauty. I knew the thing to do was to walk in the face of my fears. Aging is a last bastion, and one that truly affects every single one of us." [read the article]
