Girlfriends magazine Check out the August highlights at Girlfriends magazine for interviews with Michelle Clunie and Peter Paige. Yes, that's her on the cover ... with hair extensions and more makeup than we normally see on Melanie Marcus!

Girlfriends chose Peter as one of the "Men We Love" this year, and had this to say about him: "As the fabulous queen on Showtime's smash hit, Paige steals our hearts with his sweet, sensitive portrayal of a true romantic, always working it but never giving it away."

In her chat with Heather Findlay, Michelle says, "I don't know enough about gay life to go out there and start fighting for causes. At the same time I do know that I have this great love for humanity, and I do understand artistic expression, and I do believe in creating a world where you are free to express yourself, whatever that may be, as long as you don't hurt anyone."
