BeatleFest Chicago 2001
In August of 2001, Julia and I (Meg) visited our first Beatlefest in Chicago. Talk about a Beatle fan's dream! Wow. It was fun. There was plenty to buy and quite a bit to do. (Don't even get me started on the price of food at that hotel though, that was insane.)
I highly reccomend the event to everyone! It was the time of my life. Sure, after spending all of my money it wasn't as much fun, but the best part was watching A Hard Day's Night and screaming the entire time. Yep, screaming. That was fun! Plus, there are some really cool people there. Of course, there are a few fans that are a little too obsessed and weird for me. (Like the girls behind Julia and I who knew every word in the script of AHDN and were going just a bit too crazy. (Coming from me, you know they must be insane!)
So, next year we'll probably be back. It'll be August 16th through the 18th. We're hoping to spend the entire weekend there, we've just got to find a group of cool girls to split a hotel room with us. :-)
