Here are some details of the early work on the St. Johns Robot Project,
where we started, and what we did when we thought we knew what we
were doing before we did it....
The Plan, Feb 2001

Just a collection of parts at the
moment....
Parts include; Gas Filled Shock Absorbers, chains and pulleys, angle grinder
parts, gas bottles and various electric motors.
A few of the early names March 2001...suggestions welcome
The early plans for the Robot's Design, judged by Karl (April
2001).
Possible names now include Maximus Destructicus and Spark-At-Us
(Like Spartacus but badly spelled - geddit?)
More components for the Robot Maximus May 2001
Rover V8 Flywheel, 12 volt batteries and a circular saw disc.
Most importantly, we have the Robot Wars Entry Form.
You can also see the 6 volt powered test chassis, and a duplex
drive chain.
The 12 volt batteries are from golf carts.
