Xe Bang Hiang

Looking west along the Xe Bang Hiang. This shows the general type of terrain. At this altitude we were well within range of shooters on the ground. But that is what one does when you are on a search and rescue (SAR). Remember we were in an unarmed civilian twin engined aircraft - a sitting duck one might say when you reflect we are looking for someone that was just shot down.
