Both Captain Mick and Captain Mike had teams lined up for the Rotary International Fishing Derby on May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd. Captain Mike fished with his grandson Ian and Captain Mick fished with returning clients Bryan Roger and Steve. Both teams landed good numbers of lake trout and each had a big fish in the money. Roger landed a 15 pound 5 ounce trout good for 4th place overall and Captain Mike's 14 pound 12 ounce fish came in 5th! Not bad for a derby with nearly 500 registered anglers. ...

Captain Mike Tarasavage is chartering with us. He has a new Polarkraft Outlander and he has brand new TraxsTech downriggers.
Mike is a long time Lake Champlain fisherman with excellent fishing skills and knowledge.
We're networking with him on the lake and steering clients his way.
The brown trout below was one of eleven browns and one salmon that Mike has caught and released in the tribs over the past several days.
