To change the presentation style of a datawindow, export the datawindow into a .srd file. Open up the file and look for 'processing' (without quotes).
For Grid style, use processing=1
For Tabular style, use processing=0
Change the value of 'processing' to whatever style you want.
Note, there is basically no difference between TABULAR and FREEFORM except that FreeForm has a Header Height=1. If you change HEADER HEIGHT to more than 1 and put column headings, then FreeForm changes to Tabular, similarly if you change the HeaderHeight of a tabular to 1, i.e. collapse the header, it becomes FreeForm.
