Helping hands

This is my friend Andora. She is a fellow rescue buddy too. Her speciality seems to be anything that is lost and alone either wild or domestic. Andora is truly a beautiful person both inside and out. I don't know anyone who has a heart bigger or more loving than she does.
	This is her latest rescue, Griz. So named because he grumbles like a grizzly bear! Andora saw him at the Orange County livestock auction. A man there purchased Griz for $200.00 and was going to sell him to a rendering factory. Andora approached the man before he left and asked him if she could buy Griz herself. He said yes...for $400.00.
She worked her butt off and networked with everyone she knows to raise the money to get Griz. She called me and said, "Guess what I just rescued?" I laughed and said, "What? A horse?" She said, "Yep!" Griz is now recuperating on a farm next to where Andora lives. He's coming along nicely though he's still very underweight. A vet said that from his bone structure and musculature that at one time Griz must have been a show horse and a fine looking one at that. If anyone can make him what he was, Andora can! She's always wanted a horse, she just had to wait for the right one to come along.
