- The PSAT is one of many standardized tests which you will be given. It's main
focus is preparation for college work. There are five different sections, two of
which are math, two verbal, and one writing. You are given 50 minutes for the
math and verbal and thirty for the writing. The PSAT can be taken by all
students at Tech.

The SAT can only be taken by HS seniors. It is exactly like the PSAT except for
the fact that it is 2 1/2 hours longer and considerably harder.
