If only this:
That my actions verbalize my own convictions
Then maybe in my life there would be fewer contradictions
The things I do and the things I believe are mostly misconstrued

I'm amazed at this:
You look at this world with eyes that love and do not criticize
Do you recall the glow with which You had created it
Rebuking the way in which one has disorganized it

I'm amazed at this:
Your love
You take care of me, my family
You've set us free from sin
And given Salvation that's guaranteed
My strength is found in Him

If only this:
That the church would crystallize
And realize we need to return to our first love

 If only this:
We could recognize the need of moral value
That can't be compromised
In a world made of up books on "How To's" and little white lies

I'm amazed at this:
Just when I start to walk away from you
I am knocked on my knees and then it's you I pursue

O Lord, forgive me, I'm still learning
And what I've learned is more valuable
Than anything I could have ever earned

 I'm thankful for this:
That in my life, I do not value momentary pleasures
But it is Jesus Christ that value is measured.
