FILTER : concrete, multichamber gravity-fed system, 10 tons of water, length 12ft, width 8ft, depth 4ft, surface area 96sqft, media includes bristle brushes, Izeki nets, bio-balls, Japanese mats.

FEATURES : 3 cascades, 2 venturi, 2 bottom push pipes, 3 bottom drains, waterway with vegetation, 1 Hi-Blow 40 air-pump upgraded to Hi-Blow 80 in Oct 2004, 2 submersible water-pumps (Tsurumi).

LANDSCAPING : wooden decking as filter cover, wooden bridge, Pergola, Trellis with creepers.

KOI : latest count: 11, ranging from 40cm to 65cm.
