Bike Stuff
This is my home built tandem bicycle. I made it out of a couple of old 3 speed frames. Never one to leave well enough alone, I made the back crankset where it could be raised and lowered to fit my wife or kids. It has 2 speeds on the crank and 2 on the 3speed Sturmey Archer Hub. I have to put conversion kits n the bottom brackets to convert to 3 piece because the one piece cranks are a bit to flimsy. Other than that, it works great. The whole bike is made out of junk. The only things I bought were new brake cables, housings and a set of spokes for the rear wheel. I have somewhat less than $50 in the whole thing. Beats the heck out of buying one.
