Campbell-Tintah to celebrate Snow Week

The girls basketball varsity defeated Lisbon last week and lost their first game of the season at Hankinson in a hard fought contest. They now have a 14-1 for a record. They played at Fairmount on Monday, Feb. 2 versus Central Cass and play at Wyndmere on Tuesday, Feb. 3. They play in the North Dakota State Collefe of Science Girls Basketball Bonanza on Saturday, Feb. 7. They play Battle Lake, Minn., at 6 p.m.

Kali Luick, senior captain on the basketball team, became a member of the 1,000 point club last week.

The boys basketball team played three games last week versus Lisbon, Hankinson and Central Cass and came away without a win. They play at Rosholt on Thursday night starting at 6:15 p.m. in the junior varsity game. They play at Campbell on Friday night versus Wyndmere.

The boys junior high basketball team play at Rosholt Thursday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. They play Wyndmere/Lidgerwood on Friday at 4 p.m.

The Wrestling team wrestles at Breckenridge on Tuesday, Feb. 3 in a triangular meet versus Wheaton and Wadena- Deer Creek. They wrestle on Friday at Lake Park in another triangular meet versus Lake Park/Audubon and Barnesville.

The speech team has its first speech meet on Thursday, Feb. 5 at Wheaton.

Noteworthy Students of the Month of January are: Tyler Pederson, grade 8; Nicole Berand, grade 8; Kayla Glasby, grade 10; Leah Hensch, grade 10; Stacie Keller, grade 12; Marian Sprung, grade 12; Michael Kvidt, grade 12.

Snow Week is officially next week starting Monday, Feb. 9 but we are kicking of the week Friday, Feb. 6 with a dance at Campbell after the home basketball game. The theme is all about music. Songs for the week are “Welcome to the Jungle," “Party Like a Rock Star," “Dude Looks Like a Lady," “Circus," and “Be True to Your School."
