B-C-T track runs in Perham

The Breckenridge-Campbell-Tintah boys and girls track teams ran in Perham, Minn, Tuesday. The Cowgirls won the event with 145 team points. Perham finished second with 136, followed by Ottertail Central (121), Wadena-Deer Creek (108) and Parkers Prairie (35).

The Cowboys finished third as a team, with 107 points. Perham won the boys meet with 174 team points. Ottertail Central was second (136), followed by Breckenridge, Wadena-Deer Creek (69) and Parkers prairie (48). For the Cowgirls, Stephanie Erlandson won the 800 and the long jump. The girls 4 x 400 relay team of Caryn Meindl. Jacie Jawaski, Katrina Dahlgren and Erlandson won their event. For the Cowboys, they had many placers in the top six, while Aaron Swenson, Turner Blaufuss and Nic Conzemius took the top three spots in the high jump. The Cowboys and Cowgirls now host the KT Smith Invitational Thursday.
