Praise Cathedral
young people have called themselves CRUISERS because
sixty percent (60%) of the country's sea vessels
are based in Cebu City just an overnight boat
ride to most of the islands in the Philippines.
If one wants to cruise to the Philippine Islands,
start out from cebu.
Webster's dictionary defines the word "cruiser"
as an airplane, a squad, car, etc. that moves
from place to place for pleasure or for a mission.
And for the CRUISERS they cruise with a mission
- to share the Good News and Jesus Christ in a
pleasurable way. Furthermore they also aim to
equip those who respond to the message of good
news with the Word of God developing them into
committed followers and believers of the Lord
Jesus Christ. Matthew 28: 19 - 20 says "Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the father and of the son
and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey
every thing that I have commanded you. And surely
I am with you always, to the very and of the age."
(NIV).
In Campuses, they call themselves CAMPUS CRUISERS
because they aim to share the Good News and Jesus
Christ to the students, faculty and staff of the
different campuses in the city.
