A dress for your soap bottle.

Finished size: Fits 14.7 oz bottle of dish soap

Materials:

*Size G hook
*WW Cotton yarn
--MC small amount white
--CC of your choice - 1 oz
*Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)

Pattern Notes:

Shell: 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in same space
Picot: ch 3, sc in first ch, sk stitch and single crochet in next stitch
Only rows 2 and 3 are BLO
Beginning ch 3 counts as first dc

Directions: Ch 14 join with ss to first ch to form ring.

Rnd 1: ch 3, 29 dc in ring. (30 dc) join with ss in top of ch 3. Try on bottle to make sure it fits neatly around top.

Rnd 2: ch 3, dc in each dc in BLO (30 dc) join with ss in top of beg ch 3.

Rnd 3: Repeat Rnd. 2

Rnd 4: ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc in same space, *ch 1 skip 2 stitches and do shell *, repeat from * around ch 1, change to cc and join with ss in top of beg ch 3.

Rnd 5: ch 3, dc in each dc and sp across 2 shells and next ch sp (12 dc). Ch 4, skip next 3 shells and dc in next ch sp and across next 2 shells and next ch space. (13 dc) ch 4, skip next 3 shells, dc in last ch sp. Join with ss in top of beginning ch 3.

Rnd 6: ch 3, dc in each dc and ch around. Join with ss in top of beg ch 3.

Rnd 7-11: Dc in each dc around. Join with ss in top of beg ch 3. changing to white at end of Rnd 11.

Rnd 12: work picot around and finish off. Weave in ends.
