Sports I've Played:
Baseball (1991-1992)
I played baseball for one year when I was 7 years
old. I can't say I was good when I played, but I think I'd do a little
better if I were to play baseball today. One of the only memories
from Baseball I have was when I was down playing with the dirt during a
big game, and everybody starts yelling that the ball is coming my way,
so I look around desperately, and before I know, it busts me right in the
head and I fall to the ground, crying because I didn't know what the heck
had just happened. (Remember, I was only 7)
Soccer (1992-1996)
I played soccer for 5 years and I can proudly
say I was really good at the sport. My first year playing, I played
for the Warriors, and we ended up winning the league championship that
year, and the next. I moved up into a new class and was transferred
to the Falcons. I played Right Wing for almost every game I played
in soccer, sometimes I'd play center also. Being in soccer for my
5 year career, my record was 42-7 total, including 3 championship titles,
5 trophies, and 1 gold medal. I would probably be playing till this
day, but when me and my family moved to Kentucky, these people didn't have
any soccer, so I was forced to give up the sport.
Raider Team (1999-2000)
I was a member of the Wayne County Junior Officer
Reserve Training Corp Raider Team for my freshman year at Wayne County
High School. A typical competition (rendezvous), included obstacle
courses, running, physical durability, and much more. Wayne County's
Raider Team won 7 trophies that year and claimed grand championship at
one of the three competitions they visited.
Basketball (2000-2002)
Basketball was a sport I always wanted to join,
but never did until my Sophomore year in High School. I played as
Power Forward and Shooting Gaurd numbering #40. Our team was really
good and in my Junior season we won region and advanced to the state where
we fell by one point.
Baseball (2002)
I hadn't planned on playing baseball but after
the coach talked to me a bit I decided I mine as well give it a shot.
I started varsity in left feild and held a steady .250 batting avg. through
the season. I look forward to playing again this year as a Senior.
Football (2002)
I had just mentioned playing football but never
considered it until my Senior year. We got a new coach and he talked
to me a bit and I decided I would try it out this season. I am offensively
a Wide Reciever, and a Safety on defense. I also am a kicker.
We have a really good team this year and I think we'll have a good chance
of winning district championship.
Other (2001-2002)
I play for the First Christian Church Softball Team
and we just started this year. We didn't do to bad, ending the year
at (9-9) and finishing 4th in the league. I played many positions
on the field, mainly outfeild.
