"Needle and Thread"

by William Armstrong

He appeared in the night like a bat out of hell
Blade in hand, he challenged us all
We all faced him as bravely as we could
But one by one we all started to fall

(refrain)

Corporal, get some needle and thread
And sew up my pants once again
Zorro has left the sign of the "Z"
Where I sit down, I can never win!

(refrain)

Whether he's on foot or riding his horse
The results are always the same
He's is the best swordsman who has ever lived
And once more lives up to his fame

(refrain)

I wish that I could beat him just one time
But I know that's too much to ask
Guess I'd better be prepared to always end up
With the mark of the man wearing the mask

(refrain)
