"Hiding in the Shadows"

by William Armstrong

Zorro might be hiding in the shadows
Or climbing over the wall
He might be around the next corner
He might look 10 feet tall
Zorro rides the fastest horse around
He seems to be everywhere
No one can beat him in a swordfight
In fact few would even dare
And all those who tried to stop him
Are either in jail or dead.

The common people all sing his praises
He has a price on his head
El Zorro has become a living legend
A hero to those in need
When the innocent are falsely arrested
He sees to it they are freed.
Don't cross his path if you're evil
You will find it doesn't pay
His mark will be left on you forever
You'll remember it every day
And you will wonder if he's in the shadows
Or climbing over the wall
Maybe around the next corner
You'll see Zorro, and that's all!
