Flashback summer of 2002, while many people were creeping the grimy streets of Norristown (Pa), the N.B.A crew decided to do something a little different. Under the leadership and management of B-Easy, the crew decided to attack the rap scene from scratch. Equipped with only a few instrumental cd’s and access to America Online- Yeah you read it right AOL! N.B.A. went to work. Now what started as just a hobby quickly became a full time task. After months of recording off of any internet beat available and minor buzz from their in house produced “Best of the Borough” cd, N.B.A. decided to step their rap game up a notch. Feeling re-energized and motivated Young Cutty and B-Easy put the crew on their backs and as they would say: “Got Focused”. Ask them what focused exactly meant and they’ll show you the hundreds of dollars worth of computer and production equipment they purchased with their own money to turn Cutty’s backroom into a full fledged studio (BOOTH included).

In an era where hip hop has become centered around money, jewlez, and baller status, few groups have emerged to make an attempt to take rap music down another path. Not since Wu-Tang in the early 90’s has a music member and multi diverse crew stepped onto the scene with a whole new flavor. But ladies and gentlemen it is my honor to introduce to you Young Cutty, Spady Jamal, Maverick, Jay Mac, B-Easy, and Optimuz Rhyme- better known as The League
