J-Dogg-4-Lif' Presents... Ruff Thugz Iz Da Plaze 2 Bee! Vol. 1 Compilation June 2002
1. Introduction: The Past
This is the Introduction of this Cd. I tell about how my first crew (Dah Naughiey B.O.I.Z.) started back in ‘94 with the joint, “Back 2 Da Eastside”. Then I give another snippet from the second album, “Tyme 2 Shine”. I changed the name because I heard some otha muthafuckas were tying to bite off our names. So I changed it to The Ruff Thugz. Instead of making a group album, I made it a compilation.
2. “The Projects”- J-Dogg-4-Lif’
This joint I’m representin’ my ol’ hood 1030 S. 12th Street. I lived there for 12 years in the projects. Now I’m livin’ in the E.S. of San Jose, California.
3. Ya Betta be Ready (Skit)-Big John
This be my dog, Big John. He’s the one who created the beats for “Face Off”, and “Introduction: The Past”. He’s tellin’ the Hataz to “Fuck Off!” and not to mess around with the whole D4L crew ‘cause we’re goin to mess ya’ll up.
4. “Face Off”-J-Dogg-4-Lif’
This one I’m talkin about the Hataz. I’m tellin’ them to “Fuck Off!”. ‘Nuff said, ya’ll gotta hear the song. I chose this song for the first single ‘cause many peeps were talkin’ about this song. They liked it. First I was going to make this song not released, but
many peeps were sayin’, “Yo Dog, release that shit yo, that shit hot, beat & lyrics are hot, you gotta tell them hataz around to Fuck Off!”. I released this one as a single, the B-Side to it was “Last Round” also talkin’ about a Hater which I don’t really like.
5. Massive Ryder (Skit)-Fabian & J-Dogg-4-Lif’
My dog Fabian promoting his wear Massive Ryder. It’s comin’ real soon. He was the one who made the front & back cover of the Cd. It was one of his class projects for Multimedia.
6. “Bing Monsters II”-Ja Rule, Tragedy Khadafi, Headrush, and J-Dogg-4-Lif’
One of my dogs from the KVIP studio gave this track to me, so I can do the last verse for this track. Part I version is on Tragedy Khadafi’s “Against all Odds” album-It’s in Stores Now!. Track is hot!
7. “Think Ya Slick”-DMX
I just had to put a DMX track on it. He’s my favorite rapper. So I just gave ya’ll a little piece of the song “A Dog and A Fox” with Foxy Brown. “Think Ya Slick” might’ve been a good title for the chrous.
8. “Represent”-J-Dogg-4-Lif’
This was one of my biggest joint off my “2K1” album. It was my 6th single. The B-side joint was “Do It...”- It was too Xplicit-Joint may appear on my upcoming release “Jointz, B-Sides, and Underground”-it may drop on the same day as “T.C.O.B.1” album.
9. Sergio Presents Elipsis (Skit)
That’s my dog, Sergio promoting his group Elipsis. Elipsis is a new rock band on my label Dog$-4-Lif’ Ent. Their debut album comin’ real soon. First joint “Promise” coming real soon.

12. “Half Man, Half Dog”-J-Dogg-4-Lif’
This one was one of my biggest joints. I’m a Man, And a Dog. I have 2 different sides of me. This is my 5th single for the album “2K1”-which sold over 600 copies.
13. “International Helmet”-Clee & Drank alot
Joint is hot. They talk about different kinds of ladies they met around the world.
14. “Hell at a Glance”-D-Lyriouz
This is my dog, D-Lyriouz. This was one of his freestyles he made. Then Amp Da Realis did the remixed on this freestyle & just added on a beat.
15. “Static”-Justin Morales, BC, and ANON
Another joint from Justin Morales. This is a record produced by ANON.
16. “My Name is Scott”-Scottie B.
This track is funny. Scottie B. and his friend, Dave, were rappin’ on this song. The ghetto Beat Box was by me.-I do not know how to beat box-but i did my best on it.
17. “D4L Party”-J-Dogg-4-Lif’
I just wanted to make a ghetto party track for ya’ll. It’s a D4L Party in here!.
18. “Live-N-Dyrect”-J-Dogg-4-Lif’
This was my first single from my “Live-N-Dyrect” album-which sold over 400 copies. It reminded people of my otha song “Hard Times” from my “2K1” album.
19. “Get My Ghetto (Remix)”-J-Dogg-4-Lif’
This was a joint which I re-did. The original version came out in my 1995 release. Then I did the Remix version in summer of ‘96 called “Get My Ghetto (One in a Million Remix)”. Joint was hot then, so I just had to re-do it and make a 2001 version.
20. “CMW”-California’s Most Wanted
This is my dog, Cali’s Most. I met him at a mall back in ‘99, and he was sellin’ his tape. He has some hot jointz in there. This is one of his main singles.

This is my dog, Amp Da Realis’ group. This is their first single to their debut album.
22. J-Dogg-4-Lif’ Freestyle
This is one of my freestyles I made, I’m talkin’ about the Hataz again. Fuck them Hataz that be hatin’ on me, you, and the whole crew. Ain’t no need to hate, but I guess they just here to entertain bunch of bullshit.
23. Outroduction: The Future
The Outroduction tells what’s comin’ soon in the future. My album “T.C.O.B.1.”-(There Can Only Be 1) will be droppin’ on September 24th of 2002.
