All but Mr. Griffin are students at Del Norte High School. Also they all hate, and unfortounatly are in Mr. Griffin's English class. They are all friends except the odd one, Susan. She doesnt fit in with them but the others needed to use her to carry out their plan. Their plan to kidnap Mr. Griffin take him to a secluded place and teach him a lesson for all the "torture" he has put his students through.
Mr. Griffin may have not been the nicest man but he meant good. Mark on the other hand, did not, he talked every one in to the crazy idea. Susan was a nice good girl who never got into any kind of trouble. Betsy wasn't very pretty but was very popular. So to fit in she agreed with Mrark. Jeff was much like Susan, innocent, talked into this idea by Mark. Jeff was the star basketball player for the school team. A real popular kid. Who was also persuaded by Mark to do what Mark wanted to do.
