The Story

Rob the Viking was born and raised in Gabriola Island, B.C.

Rob started out in the Hip Hop world as an MC in the group called the Telepathics. He went by the name Uniik Natural. The name 'Rob The Viking' was given to him by Madchild. Rob is a talented piano player, and loves all types of music. These two elements of Rob led him into Producing instead of rhyming.

Anyone who looks at Rob's work will realize that this man is amazing at what he does. He has a unique ability to mix and master samples, drum loops, and a variety of different instruments. In 2002, this talent was recognized with an award for Best Producer from Urban Music Association of Canada (UMAC).

Even though he is quite new to the world of music, he has already produced for a number of large names at Battleaxe. Rob the Viking joined Swollen Members in 2002 after being their house DJ for some time.
