The Story

Prevail was born in Regina, and as a child, moved to Victoria B.C. With the help of his cousin, he got into the music bisiness. Moka Only and himself would rap in public to gain some cash.

In 1992, Prevail and Moka Only put out an album titled "Delve into my Realm", which was released on a label named Splitsphere. When Prevail and Moka Only finished high school, they moved to Vancouver.

In 1994, the two moved down to San Diego, and met with and befriended some of underground hip hop's biggest names, including and not limited to Tony da Skitzo and Mr. Brady(now on Battleaxe). In 1995, Prevail went back to Vancouver and worked in a resaurant, while continuing to rap.

Prevail is known for being quite a freestyler, and is a member of the National Battle Assoc. Over the years, Prevail has been involved in a number of other projects besides Swollen Members, including Code Name: Scorpion and Q.C. (with Moka Only, Birdapres, Sichuan, E.Motionz, Sons of Intellect). In 2002, Prevail went with Much Music to Africa to report on the AIDS situation.

Prevail is also involved in Battle Axe Management. He handles press issues, and usually will be the one quoted in articles or interviews because of this.

In 2002, Prevail was featured in the movie "Agent Cody Banks".

Prevail has also gone by different Aliases: K-Prevail, Black Jack, Emporer of Hip Hop and Dj Furtune.
