Kailua Intermeddiate

“I had the privilege of attending worship at the basketball courts of Kailua middle school. There was a strong anointing of the presence of God as people were singing and dancing in praise to Him, to break the strongholds of hatred and violence there. I was watching Tsedhaqah International Dance Co.’s dancers do “J Train” a hip hop tune. Some young boys in their teens walked up right by me, commenting as they joked and sneered at the dancers as they started. One of them said “alright, a party! Where’s the Heineken ?” and “Lets see what they got!” I just kept watching to see for myself when they broke loose and started to show just what they did have as they gave glory to God. The boys next to me started to make remarks such as “they can dance!” and started to cheer the dancers on. Right away I felt the climate change around us, when the song ended. Those boys cheered and shouted with the rest of us. I think, that night changes began to happen already, just what we were there for and praying for.” Tom Murray
