STATE PROPERTY - THE MOVIE
An urban crime drama, State Property is the story of a broke
and frustrated Beans (played by Beanie Sigel) who decides to that the only
way to grasp the "American Dream" is to take it. The movie follows Bean's
character and crew, the "ABM," as they bump heads with opposing gangsters
and police, and eventually build a formidable gang empire. It all comes to
a head when Beans cannot surpass the city's most notorious crew run by Jay-Z
and Dame (Damon Dash). Ultimately, Beans and the "ABM" crew learn that their
actions come with severe consequences. The movie is in theaters early in 2002
on Lion's gate/Roc-A-Fella Pictures on 400 screens worldwide.
