NDAMIXX: Rakim Joins Aftermath
IF IT AIN'T NDAMIXX IT AIN'T SHIT!

Oh My God!
Dayum! Dogg Dr. Dre announced several weeks ago on the QT that legendary Hip Hop lyricist Rakim was recently signed to his Aftermath/Interscope record label. The signing should be a much needed boost for Rakim, formerly of the Old Skool Hip Hop duo Eric B. & Rakim. In recent years, Rakim, who after an extremely long hiatus, released two solo jointz that failed to meet expectations both in sales and content. Dre who has refused to produce pop king, Michael Jackson's, Nu joint citing his preference for working with Nu up and coming artist seems a bit hypocritical with the signing of an Old Skool vet. However hypocritical the move is, the Hip Hop world should benefit from the pairing with an instant classic as of this writing entitled, "Oh My God!". I for one can't wait to hear this collabo. My ears have been fiending to hear Dre teamed up with a true serious lyricist for a minute. I'm not taking anything away from the artist that Dre has worked with in the past (N.W.A., Snoop, Eminem, Xzibit, Kurupt, et al). It's just that none of them could compete with Da R. in a spit contest unless there was actual spitting going on.
