Any way the hearing scheduled for this Friday has been pushed back a week to March 8. Prosecutors Nda case want the judge to overturn Whitney's plea bargain on the misdemeanor drug possession charge. It seems Whitney failed to submit a drug substance abuse assessment, which was asked for and granted by the Prosecution as a mandatory part of the agreement. All this drama originated when Whitney's bag, which allegedly contained less than half an O (oh) of hydro and three roaches, was seized at the Keahole Kona International Airport in January 2000. At the time, Houston was not arrested. The judge in the case Joseph Florendo Jr. agreed to dismiss the conviction if Houston stayed out of trouble. UPDATE: Ms. Houston or is it Ms. Brown (I thought she was married?) will have her record cleared, as agreed in her original plea bargain, after a substance abuse counselor told the court she not think Ms. Houston needed drug counseling.
