| I'll take B.E.T. for $2.5 Billion, Alex. |

![]() Do you remember where you were? What you were doing the day Tupac died? Or the day Biggie was shot down? I do. I also remember my first piece of azz, my first major stick up and now I will never forget the day Robert Johnson sold out to viacom. And for what to buy an airline, D.C. Air? I was channel surfing one day. I spotted the B.E.T. logo on one of those financial channels. I hit the mute and heard that Viacom (MTV, VH1, The Box, every major video outlet in America) had made an offer to buy the Black Entertainment Network for two and a half billion dollars ($2,500,000,000.00 now dat's some cheddar). The nuz hit me like I had just lost my best friend to the Jahovah Witness program. I was shocked at the thought of my B.E.T. in the hands of the people that own MTV which until recently wasn't big on playing rap and at first refused to play Hip Hop music at all. Now that Viacom (CBS, UPN) has had a successful taste of Black Programming with MTV Jams with Ananda Lewis and EFX with Flex and that skinny kid from the real world without losing their white audience they not only want their piece, but the whole cake; the ingredients, and the easy bake oven. What's the saying once you had black you can't go back. I have just one question: Does this mean the end of Cita? Remember: IF IT AIN'T NDAMIXX IT AIN'T SHIT And We Mean Dat!!
