My swim team also did an activity with the whole team during the season that we called the "polar bear
swim" in which we would go swim at Alki Beach, a part of the puget sound that is near our school.
Here is a picture of Alki Beach in the summer time. It may look pretty in the picture, but when you
are swimming in freezing water on October, its not necessarily the nicest thing in the world!
