BBDA News And Info.
March 24th 2006
The BBDA has now opened its doors and we are now in the recruiting process. We have had some rule changes in the past few days and that is why the league hasnt started yet. The league Has been busy as they have gotten many of players to join the BBDA. Some of the players joining include, Charles Murphy, Marcel Driver, Jay Robinson and many more. The BBDA Owner also signed BDS hall of fame coach Mike Lewis a 6 year vet at coaching he hopes to lead one of these 4 squads to the BBDA Championship.
March 25th 2006
The BBDA season draft took place at around 4:00 Pm. Who will prevail this year is still uncertain As New York coach Will Michaels drafted 3 all around complete players. Coach Mike lewis got superstar Jay robinson along with controversal veteran of dice bball dwyane taylor, The slammers also drafted Dwyane Wade 2nd overall. Houston Has a pretty solid team with dirk Nowitzki Leading the way. Tallahassee Coach Chris Webb drafted future BDS hall of famer Charles Murphy and the young sensation Tony Delk, and to be on the safeside Webb draft long time vet Ty Krane. There is no great team out there this year in BBDA but one thing is for sure there can only be one champion.
BBDA Season Opener
In the first ever game in BBDA history the first team to ever get a win was the New York Knights. The Knights never really had a challenge in this game as Marcel Driver was on fire hitting almost every shot he took. Driver Finished with 7 of New Yorks 13 Points as the Knights rolled past Charlie Murphy and the Trojans.
In the second game of our doubleheader it was the Trojans of Tallahassee that took full control of the game after an earlier loss to New York. The trojans held Dirk Nowitzki scoreless with good defense. The Trojans were lead with a well Balanced attack from both players as delk scored the first six Pts of the game and Murphy finished off with a strong 7 Pts to give Trojans Headcoach Chris Webb his first Career Win in any dice competition. The Trojans Improved to 1-1 on the season.
