Yet another installment in the DJ Quik vs. N.W.A beef. Click "here" to listen to this track by Mausberg which features Quik's production. Mausberg claims to be the real "Don Mega" and tells an unnamed person to stop biting his shit. Remember on "U Ain't Fresh" where Kam says "Yelling which side is the realest/ where you steal this from? MAUSBERG". Maus' also uses this diss "Bitch Niggaz/ Not hanging with your own kind niggaz" as in Dr. Dre hanging with Eminem? It's obvious there was real beef, but they have since squashed it and have called a truce. Damn I wanted N.W.A to ride on those fruit loops... oh well.- Mr. Bennz
I saw the Hell Low video on Rap City a couple days ago. Whoever was on the message board was not bullshitting when he described it... so go to the "NWA 2000" board to peep what the video's concept is. Why does MTV get all excited over Dre's solo joints, shooting specials for "Making The Video" yet ignores N.W.A?! N.W.A was what made Dre, and it will make what he'll be for the next 10 years this time around as well. Makes you think MTV would want to be first on premiering Dre's next transformation, back into that Ruthless muthafucka we all bumped back in the day. Well I always said fuck MTV, N.W.A will do it old school style and blow up without radio play or video play.- Mr. Bennz
Oh yeah, it ain't over, muthafucka! Check back tomorrow for another update with Snoop related shit...plus more. For now check out this new Eminem joint off of the clean version of The Marshall Mathers LP. It's the only funny song on the LP... as I reported a couple weeks ago on this site. (Click "here" for Kids) The joint has a purposely annoying beat, which after you realize the concept behind the song, that alone should crack you up. Lyrically it's hilarious, so check it out. PEACE.- Mr. Bennz

Back again with another update. I've added a few more mp3's to our archive. The advance promo for Snoop Dogg's "The Last Meal" LP is now here at NWA2K. I believe that they are the same songs that the other sites have, but they are listed by different names on my CD. I never downloaded the mp3's, so if I were you I'd check to see if any of the shit is new. They are CD quality, plus they are official, nothing comes from mIRC. I know people have been saying that none of these songs are Dr. Dre productions, but my sources say that "You The Only One I Live For" is Dre's beat. Click "here" to go to that section.- Mr. Bennz
Sorry but I have no new N.W.A music this week, so to make up for it I've got this joint by Canadian MC, Kardinal Official "Mic Thugs"(Click "here"). This shit here is really tight, but how does it relate to N.W.A? Well homeboy samples Eazy-E, so it shows N.W.A's influence on Hip Hop to this day. It is strickly underground shit, and if you ain't loving this shit then you don't know shit about the underground.- Mr. Bennz
Now for some news... MC Ren and Dr. Dre have voiced their opinions on Dynamite Hack's remake of "Boyz N Da Hood" In MC Ren's wife's words "Man, that was wack!" Ren couldn't wait for the song to end, while Dre ordered the white boys to turn the bullshit off... pissed off about them using the word nigger in the remake. Dre thought they would get shot over that, so he suggested they take the word out. Peep Rollingstone.com for the more in depth coverage. You can win the video for the remake by entering NWA2K's contest (read below).- Mr. Bennz
Dr. Dre served the names of over 230,000 users to Napster this week, and those users with his music in their hard drive were banned from Napster. Dre reportively gave the option of only banning the users who refused to remove his music off their computers, but Napster just kick all those peeps off thier shit. A warning to those who still have his music on their computer... remove it immediately or Dre will sue your ass for alot of money. In my opinion I think this is great for recording artist. I do not support the bootlegging of the artist hard work. The mp3's on NWA2K are only meant to promote my favorite MC's of all time, so don't call me a hypocrite, cuz I wouldn't put a whole CD of music up before it's released like the major MP3 sites do. (continued...)
My theory to why pre-released albums on mp3 are wack is this: The artist has a dope album... it's real Hip Hop, and obviously they worked hard to make it tight. Now the album gets bootlegged on MP3, and it doesn't sell shit. This artist has to feed their family and themselves, they have to live somewhere, they have to put clothes on their kid's backs... shit they need money to make another record! So the next album comes around, they sell out like a muthafucka. They start dancing like Puffy, they have Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys sing on their record... all in the hope that even if the album gets bootlegged, the MTV crowd would buy it anyway and they can make a living. Why do you think Hip Hop music is starting to suck nowadays? Why is it that the biggest rap stars are Puff Daddy, Master P, and Cash Money? Why do your favorite rappers sell out and bite Puffy's shit and now their wack? It's because their tight shit got bootlegged, and the major labels don't like Hip Hop to begin with, so when Real Hip Hop doesn't sell what makes you think the label would want to promote shit they don't like? They tell them to do what Jay-Z does, what Puffy does, ect. And it works, they sell 6 times platinum, but we've lost another dope MC. It's fucked up.- Mr. Bennz
Ice Cube will star in a movie called Stray Dawgz. Cube co-wrote the script, which is about an ex con who becomes a werewolf hunter, and must take on a new generation of werewolves. To read more about this go to allhiphop.com.- Mr. Bennz
Daz released a new album "R.A.W." independantly... and disses Death Row proclaiming his freedom from the label. According to peeps out in Cali he also was on Julio G's radio show saying he wants to work with the original Death Row, Snoop, Nate Dogg, Warren G, and even Dr. Dre! He basically begged to be added to the Up In Smoke tour with N.W.A, Xzibit, Eminem and the others involved. My question is, what was it that finally made him see the light?- Mr. Bennz
Daz makes an intelligent business move, and Above The Law does some shit that makes me wonder what the hell their smoking. Death Row dissed Eazy-E saying he was gay on Death Row Uncut fools! Now what they gonna do? Diss N.W.A on the Death Row Uncut soundtrack? I guess DR needed somebody who seems like they had businees dissin N.W.A rather than lookin like idiots with the wack ass fakers they got trying to diss them. Death Row had enough money to make Daz sell out and betray his family (Snoop) but obviously they ran out of it, or Daz would still be gold diggin over there right now... so what's ATL's motivation? Frankly I really don't give a fuck, let them get ripped off.- Mr. Bennz
Snoop's Dogghouse has updated with more dates for the Up In Smoke Tour. August 11th it comes here to my home town, so I'll definately be there. N.W.A live in concert! I'm going to try and get a tape recorder in with me, and I'll have audio from this shit up here on NWA2K so be lookin for that.- Mr. Bennz

Yeah it's update time again. This one will be small, but I'm going to work on a bigger one for tomorrow. I've got 2 videos that I'm holding a contest for. The first is a new Comrads video which features Mack 10... it's off the hook. Str8 gangsta shit with guns, drugs, and butt naked bitches... listen to the song by clicking "here"- Mr. Bennz
Next we got this strange shit by this rock group Dynamite Hack. It's a remake of Eazy-E's "Boyz N Da Hood". It's hilarious watching these stupid white boys in the suburbs doing this song. They sing it instead of rapping, but I think it's disrespectful to Eazy so fuck em.- Mr. Bennz
To win this shit all you need to do is create a tight new banner and a new layout for this site. The grand prize winner will also get a CD with some of NWA2K's execlusive music. There will be a runner up as well, who will receive one video of their choice or the CD. Email your entry "here". Include your name. address, and the video you want in case you're the runner up.- Mr. Bennz

Got some more audio treats for yall. "Here" is a new track by Erick Sermon featuring DJ Quik and Xzibit... which I guess proves that there is no beef with Dre and Quik cuz I doubt Xzibit would show up on this shit if there was. It has an old 94 funk feel to it, very outdated.- Mr. Bennz
Here's the new radio edit of "Hell Low". In it N.W.A changes the lyrics for airplay, and MC Ren changes his "diss" at DJ Quik to some shit like "Makin 2nd II None hits like the homie Quik" so now we can all kill this beef shit.- Mr. Bennz
Peep the Reviews section for a review of The Peace Disc written by Da Snipa.- Mr. Bennz
In other news Warren G has signed to Aftermath. Go to back.to/nwa for more info.- Mr. Bennz
Right now I'm working hard on getting a couple execlusive joints for the site, so make sure to check back next week for the new Eazy-E joint and maybe an unreleased Dr. Dre cut off Chronic 2001.- Mr Bennz
In the meantime click on the Ice Cube banner below for a chance to win all his albums on CD. Thanks to Da Snipa and Priority Records.- Mr. Bennz

Well what we've been waiting for has finally made it to the net. I'm talking about the "new" Eazy-E song "So Sweet" Yes Erick Sermon just remixed Eazy's lyrics from "Gangsta Beat 4 Tha Street" but I must give big props to E-Dub for hooking up a tight ass beat. Right "here" you'll get a clip of the joint. It comes from HipHopTV.com, I edited it a little bit so peep that site for a longer clip- Mr. Bennz
Gonna catch up on some news right about now. Dr. Dre has re-entered the top ten on Billboard. Currently he's #9 on the countdown.- Mr. Bennz
Ice Cube slips to the #31 spot while Snoop and Tha Eastsidaz have gotten a big boost in sales this past week. They were no. 100 last week almost about to disapear off the charts, but they managed to get to the no. 78 spot. They've also been certified Gold (That 's more than what Death Row's Chronic 2000 sold) .- Mr. Bennz
More impressing is Eminem's commercial debut "The Slim Shady LP" re-entering the top 40 jumping 27 positions to claim the no. 35 spot.- Mr. Bennz

What up, yall. The NWA2K Execlusive for this update is "B Please 2" by Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Xzibit, and Nate Dogg. Click "Here" to download.Oh you've seen it somewhere else? Well guess what? They don't have this version... extended making it over 5 and a half minutes long. It's in Real Audio for now... I MIGHT be back with the MP3, but you see Dr. Dre doesn't like MP3's, which explains why he's sueing Napster... so in order to keep getting execlusives I might not be putting MP3's of the newer shit, but we'll see.- Mr. Bennz
