Our goal is to breed intelligent puppies with a solid temperament that can play with your children, welcome your guests, and be protective when necessary. We have Imported some of the best bloodlines from Germany, so we have a solid foundation to build on. Our show lines all come from the top VA & V dogs. Our working lines come from Germany's best BSP & WUSV lines. We choose these lines for not only the confirmation, but for the intelligence and workability. We carefully match our dogs to bring out the best traits from both parents.
Our puppies are started on a special food we make at 3 wks. to help them grow & to take the load off their Momma, also they receive their 1st worming. They are handled daily and introduced to different sounds & sights. They are wormed again at 6 wks. & again at 8 wks. when they receive their 1st shots.
We feed a combination of the BARF (Bones & raw meat) diet & a homecooked food. Most dog foods you buy at your local supermarket are the lowest quality. Check the ingredients and if corn is listed in the 1st three ingredients it is not good quality. We recommend - Fromm, Orijen, Victor - all 5 star dog foods. Prices vary according to the litters - prices start @ $1000.
The papers are full of people claiming to have German lines. If the parents are from Germany they will have pink papers, ask to see them. If the puppy is from German lines ask to see the pedigrees of the parents. Any Imported dog in the pedigree will have the country it was imported from listed in parenthesis behind the name of the dog, if none is listed, then it is an American bred dog. The reason a puppy is CKC registered instead of AKC is simple. It CAN NOT be AKC registered. If the papers are not available at the time of purchasing a puppy, ask to see the parents AKC papers, if none are available, chances are the puppies can not be registered.
Do your homework before purchasing a puppy. Find out if your lifestyle will work for the breed of dog you are interested in purchasing. Talk to different breeders. Ask for references. Puppies are a whole lot like raising another child. They need guidance, lots of love and the proper training. They also need Quality food, proper housing, Vaccinations, and medical care should the need arise. If your only concern in purchasing a puppy is the price, maybe you should re-consider.

Abbie vom Windigen Hugel & Speke vom Pfaffenhof IPO1 are pleased to announce their puppies were born June 15th. These puppies will excel in protection, SAR and any other endeavor they are trained for. . They come from a long line of Personal protection dogs (PPD). Abbie's mother lines are not only PPD, but will have a natural tracking instinct & strong hunt drive coming from Abbie's grandmother Kira v. Werraufer SCH1. Abbie's brother Doc is one of the top man-hunters in S.C. Another half brother Klaus took best pet on face-book and made the cover of Atlanta Best Self magazine 2012. Not to mention her siblings that are in schutzhund and PPD. Speke has his IPO1 title, but also a strong natural protective instinct. His Dad was VA12 and also Universal Sieger. They have an excellent pedigree, but more important they are from proven lines.
