A turtle is a move where you use only you hands in your stomach to support yourself
and walk around in a circle.
This may be a hard move to get down well. The ability to be good at this move kind of
just comes along. It requires very good balance!

These instructions are for going clockwise. For counter-clockwise,
change left to right and right to left.
Step One - Get in the turtle position: crouch on the ground, put both elbows in your stomach, and put both hands flat on the ground. Now lift you legs off the ground so that no part of your body besides your hands are touching the ground. YOur body should be horizontal to the ground.
Step Two - Now practice that position until you are comfortable with staying in that position for extended amounts of time. Step Three - Get back into the turtle position. You will make your first arm movement. Take your left elbow out of your stomach, and bring your left arm out in front of you a little bit. Step Four - Your body should now be supported with mainly your right arm and your left arm should be out in front of you a little bit. You will now swing your body to the left so that your body is supported by both elbows again. Step Five - Now bring your right elbow out of your stomach and move your right arm out in front of you. Step Six - Now swing your body towards your right so that your body is supported by both elbows again. Step Seven - Now repeat steps three to seven for as long as you can. All this should be done in a flowing motion, and you should do it in a way that you revolve in a circle. If you having trouble getting your elbows out of your stomach, try "popping" your body up. Another tip is practicing balancing on each elbow for ten seconds at a time. | |||
