The name says it all. It's a spin on your hand. The handspin is a fairly easy and basic move, although some people have trouble doing it. It's a pretty easy to master. Most skinny people can do this. Most weightfully challenged people(no offense) aren't able to do this move.

This is for clockwise. In other words, you're going to spin on your right hand. For counter-clockwise, change left to right, etc.

Step One - Get in the handspin position. Put your right elbow in your stomach and plant it there firmly and keep it there. Now put your right hand on the ground. You should be horizontal to the ground. Lift you legs and head off the ground so that the only part of your body touching the ground is your right hand. Your right elbow should still be planted in your stomach. Make sure your legs are spread. Practice holding this position for at least 10 seconds, then continue to step two.

Step Two - Find a smooth surface such as wood, liloneum, smooth concrete, vinyl, or cardboard. You should either be wearing a sweater or use a rag to spin on.

Step Three - Get in the handspin position with the sleeve of your sweater or rag under your hand.

Step Four - Using your left hand, touch the ground and start to spin your body

Step Five - Once you have gained enough momentum, take your left hand off the ground and put it on top of your other hand. You may also put your left arm on your back.

That would be about it. If you practice enough, you may begin to see results within days. Remember to spread your legs when doing this move. Don't bend them too much. Here are some clips to give you an idea of what you should look like:
