Finding and Following YOUR Ethical Wisdom Path

Ethical questions challenge us daily and when they confound us, a high price is paid in productivity, morale and dollars. Often slipping under the legal radar, these challenges, if handled poorly, lead to increased job dissatisfaction and higher turnover rates, more legal liabilities and vulnerabilities, and decreased productivity. They seem especially troubling to people in their 30s and 40s who describe themselves as ill-equipped for ethical success.

Company policies are important, yet their day-to-day implementation leaves a potential gap. Employees, who want to see themselves as ethical, cannot act ethically when they lack the tools to meet these challenges. Unintentional injury and costs result. This program, tailored to your needs and policies, helps you and your employees take control of ethical challenges and find the answers best for your company.

Dave Evans - Crisis and Team Building

"SEVEN SECRETS FOR RESOLVING CONFLICT"

People are human and have a way of getting into disagreements and conflicts. But conflicts can end up causing an unbelievable amount of damage. And when they occur in an organization, they can completely undermine the success of the organization's mission. They can drain away its creative energies.

The good news is that there is hope! There are some simple things any of us can do to keep a conflict from developing, or to reverse or detoxify a conflict once it's gotten started.

In fact there are seven key things we can do to help resolve almost any conflict situation. In this speech David Evans outlines each of the seven things, drawing from his experience as a professional mediator in over 350 cases. He has worked in the Los Angeles County Dispute Resolution Program, and in the years 2000 and 2001 received the Outstanding Case Award, presented by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

In the speech "Seven Secrets for Resolving Conflict," Evans draws on the experiences and insights from the hundreds of cases he has mediated. He shares some amazing stories along the way. One involves a father and son who had been in court suing and counter-suing each other for eight years! It was only after mediation that they were able to finally resolve their differences. The key to the resolution involved one of Seven Secrets.
This is an entertaining and fascinating speech. But above all it is filled with valuable information. Audience members learn the Seven Secrets that they can then use to transform any of the conflicts they witness in their own lives and environments.

Mel Kaufman - will speak on how to make networking at meetings more effective

BIO

In 1981, Mel Kaufmann began his journey into “networking” as a marketing representative for the Wilshire Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, California. Kaufmann found that members would attend events with the hope of obtaining new business. These members often left these events disappointed. They did not know how to convert Meetings to Money.

Kaufmann realized that “networking” was the root problem. At that time, “networking” was an undefined, frivolous activity. Beginning in 1981, Kaufmann gave short presentations to new members, and over time, transformed “networking” into a discipline known as The Link System. Kaufmann then refined this discipline into a teachable skill. Now, The Link System can be taught to anyone willing to put in the time, effort, and resources.

Megatrends defines it. Fortune writes it. Kaufmann teaches it.
