Accounts Receivable
- Analysed and customised AR module like defining Flex Fields, creating value sets and adding look up codes to suit the requirements of the client Business.

Metal Invoicing
- The work was to have a tailor made module for generating Metal Invoices for sales. This was done based on Oracle Standards and using AOL. My role was to design detail Technical Specifications, Design and Code Forms, write stored procedures and Test and Implement the system. This required extensive study of Oracle Corps. standards while writing specifications, writing code and Designing forms. The project also required extensive study of Applications Object Library (AOL).
- The objective of this module was to create a system for invoicing of finished goods sales fully integrated with the AR and GL modules of Oracle Financials on the one side and the AS400 SOP (Sales Order Processing) System on the other. This system has a setup part for defining Accounting Rules, Pricing Elements and Covering Letters. This system encompasses functions such as automatic generation of invoices based on Shipments, Analysis and Pricing data held in the existing SOP system on AS/400, interface to Oracle AR through the ‘Autoinvoice’ feature, Generation of accounting entries through the Oracle GL interface, Generation of credit/debit memos arising from price-revision, Generation of covering letters together with shipping documents, Sales Daybook and other analytical reports. This system is developed on Oracle RDBMS (ver. 7.3) and establishes an interface with the SOP system on AS/400 using a set of database triggers and the Oracle Gateway product for DB2/400.

Reduction Plant Monitoring System(RPMS) is a database application which provides a variety of information related to the reduction plant operations across the plant. It include data gathering and data reporting of 989 odd electrolytic cells used for producing aluminium. This System consists of about 150 tables, over 175 forms, and about 250 reports (some with built in graphs).
Involved in design , development and integration of several sub-systems into RPMS.
The system consists of :
- Several Pro*C programs for complex calculations. The results are posted to the database and are used in various forms and reports.
- Several PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures (which are invoked automatically from Cron, as well as manually).
- Lots of menu driven utilities (Unix shell scripts) are also provided to let the users run the Pro*C programs and PL/SQL scripts manually.
- Several GUI based data entry screens for input of various plant data.
- Several management reports with graphs and statistics for better data analysis.

- This System automates the sales related activities of Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd. HOCL has an existing Sales Accounting System based on Unify RDBMS. The work involves the re-engineering of the present system for satisfying the new requirements. HOCL is the sole manufacturer of chemical products like Phenol, Acetone, Cumene etc. This system was developed for Cochin Plant. The work include delivery order preparation, Invoice generation and sales accounting. In sales accounting, software automates generation of receipts and payments vouchers, journal vouchers, credit and debit notes.

- KSDC is a government agency supplying medicines to government hospitals and health centres in the state. This Package keep track of receiving medicines from distributors and distributing them to mini depots on requests. This system take care of the expiry dates of the medicines. The medicines, whose expiry dates are near will be issued first. The Package generates reports and documents like Purchase order, Issue order, list of all medicines with expiry dates, current stock level of medines, list of outstanding medicines, List of outstanding requisitions, list of rejected medicines etc.

The report generation will support the organisation in preparing pay-slips, salary register, loan information etc as per the needs of the organisation.

- This system automates the Hotel Management Processing. System maintains the reservation and cancellation of rooms, enquiry processing, room allocation and service management. Transaction begins with the allocation of rooms on reservation or on direct admission. Provisions are given for updation of existing room rents, rate, tax, type etc. C form details are maintained for foreigners. Service management facilitates the restaurant services, Phone, laundry etc. In restaurant service, it assists the order taking by giving the range of available items, their groups and price and taxes. The system is also designed to generate various reports.

It also maintains additional information about placement of Candidates. Reports generated include financial statements, machine utilisation, Faculty tasks, Course enquiry, Courses Conducted etc for the specific period of the year.

- This system is meant for Hospital information Processing. It includes Patient and staff management, room management and service management. In-patients and out-patients are treated separately. Validation is performed for out-patient card for each consulting. Enquiry regarding patients and staff can be performed. The system automates the scheduling of duties of doctors, nurses, and other staff. Rooms are allocated for in-patients from available rooms list which can be changed subject to the availability of rooms and on priority of reservation. Service management deals with the operation services and with the supply of medicines. History maintenance and billing also takes place through the system. Reports are generated for different purposes.

- This is an information system that assists the people interested in buying land to buy land of their choice and fore those interested in selling land to sell. It matches buyers and sellers according to the criteria specified like area of land, location, nature, type of deal etc. Buyers and sellers register themselves in the database by filling in the details of land they intended to sell and also their preferences. Matching is done in all the factors and buyer / seller is given a list of all perfect matches and partial matches in the decreasing order of number of factors matched. A Detailed report on the matches of land are given to users on demand.
