HOW TO FIX a missing picture.

Look at the page with the missing picture, with just the Microsoft Explorer browser.
(In other words, don’t yet go up to File and select Edit with Microsoft FrontPage.)

Now put the cursor on the missing picture, and right mouse-click it and select ‘Properties’ from the bottom of the list that pops up.

This will show you the address where the computer is trying to find your picture file.

If the address given is like the one below, then the computer is looking in the C drive, which is your desk or home computer, for the picture called fight.htm

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings /Desktop / fight.htm

(ignore ‘%20’, I think that is what computers put when they want to make a space!)

To fix this, check that the picture you want people to see, is actually in your new web folder, in the folder with your name it.
(If its not, then right click copy the picture file from wherever it is, and then right click paste it there!)

If your picture doesn’t appear when you put it on the H drive in your new web folder, then just copy and paste the open picture on to your web page again where you want it.

Then click Save. (Just click yes if any windows pop up!)

Done!
