While at the lunch spot I took the time to call Uncle Stanley and Aunt Sara back in Ohio since I have that "free" long distance weekend plan. I believe they are both in their 80's and sounded pretty good over the phone. The crew talked of past and futur hikes, as well as this one while eating lunch. After one hour the two group continued in their original dirctions to now enjoy the open trail left behind by the others.
