Most of the hikers went straight up Maakua Ridge,
following the blue stick pins, which are hot spots to pictures.
REMEMBER TO USE THE BACK BUTTON ON YOUR BROWSER TO RETURN TO THE MAP AFTER LOOKING AT THE PICTURES. A few hardy souls (Jay Feldman, Man_Friday, Ed Gilman, Nathan Yuen, Bill Gorst, John Hall and Dick Cowan) went makai around the third stick pin and traveled along the butt ends of Maakua and Papale Ridges. Somewhere around the "red" line they crossed to Punaiki and crossed the infamous "dike" section. |
