I reached the summit at 11:55 a.m. almost 4 hours from starting time. Just a little shorter than my time to Waimano Summit. Must be about the same length. As you can see the summit was in a stage know as white out. Nothing to be seen more than 30 feet in front of you. I clocked elevation at approx 2640'. After lunch which was a 7-11 tuna on wheat and a 20 minute break I was back on my feet heading down trail. This is when the work began. We cleared very little on the way up. Going down we would open the trail.
About 4 p.m. I arrived back at the trail head. We waited for the last few stragglers and then about 4:30 piled in to the trucks for the ride back to COSTCO and..........
