Once in the area above the waterfall numerous groves of Pritchardia martii (Lo`ulu hiwa) could be seen. If you haven't yet figured it out I'm nuts about palms. Here is a link to my Palm Page. The next few pages will be nothing but palms, all the same specie Pritchardia martii native and endemic to the Ko`olau Mts.
