The American War of Independence was being fought now and this was the year that their first child was born. By the time that George’s last child was born the French Revolution had just taken place.
George and Grace had five children
DAVID HEBDEN , b. Abt. 1775; d. 9 March 1860.

George and Jane only had the two children

And
NEDDY HEBDEN, b. 6 November 1785. No more is known of Neddy.
Of the above children, DAVID HEBDEN (born Abt. 1775) married MARY ILLINGWORTH on 11 August 1806 in Bradford and they in turn had five children:
GEORGE HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1806; d. 14 March 1835.

By now this branch of the family seemed to have moved from Bingley into the Allerton area of Bradford
JOHN (born Abt. 1806) is the only child of whom anything else is known. He presumably married at some stage because he had a daughter
NANCY HEBDEN (b. Abt. 1825) who married a GEORGE SAXTON.
George and Jane’s son JOHN HEBDEN was born 21 February 1784, and died 1840. He married SARAH WILKINSON on18 February 1806 in Bingley and they had seven children.

JAMES HEBDEN, b. 23 September 1807 and married ISABELLA SMITH. He died on 15 April 1881 in New Albany, Indiana, USA. When he emigrated is not known but the 1800s saw the long period of conflict between the Native American and the settler. Moving to somewhere like Indiana it is likely that he saw what we now know as the wild west, first hand. A more different kind of life to that in Keighley and Bingley could not be found though it is likely that life in Yorkshire probably gave him a good grounding for the rigours of life of a pioneer. He certainly managed to live to a good age for his era.
JANE HEBDEN, b. 26 September 1809. She married Abraham Naylor in 1834 and had two daughters before dying in 1843
.
