Gaze at the stars on magnificent Mauna Kea using an 16 inch Celestron Telescope provided by the Onizuka Center for International Astronomy. Star-gazing is free and hosted by the Visitors Information Station (9,300 feet elevation) every Thursday through Sunday, 6:30-10:00 p.m. Mauna Kea is the best star-gazing site in the world to observe the wonders of the universe. Drive time is about 1 1/2 hours from Hale Nui B&B.
