Wooby's Banana Pudding
Ingredients:
1/3 cup of all purpose flour
dash of salt
2 1/2 cups of milk
1 can (14oz)sweet condensed milk
2 large egg yolks
2 teaspoons of vanilla
3 cups of ripe bananas (sliced and divided)
45 vanilla wafers (divided)
4 large egg whites
1/4 cup of sugar
Instructions:
Preheat oven 325*
(1) put flour and salt in a sauce pot.
(2) gradually add milk and yolks, stir constantly over medium heat 10 mins or until thick.
(3) remove from heat stir in vanilla.
(4) arrange a layer of bananas on bottom of pan.
(5) spoon 1/3 of the pudding mixture over bottom. Arrange wafers on top of pudding again, repeat layers twice.
(6) stick wafers half down into pudding against edge all the way around pan.
(7) beat egg whites at high speed until fluffy, gradually adding sugar 1 tablespoon at a time. Beat until peaks form.
(8) spread evenly over top sealing edges.
(9) bake 25 mins or until golden brown.
"pudding may be a LiL soupy when you remove it from oven" Let cool for 30 mins.
