Lewis's Photo Album

Welcome to Lewis's online photo album. Here you can see some of my Little Star grandson's best photographs.

For some reason, when he saw my camera he would scowl, but whenever he saw his Poppy's camera he smiled like the Cheshire Cat!

Oh, well - nothing personal. I guess he just didn't like me intruding on his busy playtime with my dratted camera - "NO publicity, and get that bloomin' camera away now, will you please, Nanny?" I could almost hear him thinking.

Still, it didn't stop me getting these pictures, and I'd like to share them with you, if I may.

I'll start with his first picture, taken in hospital when he was just a few hours old.

Mummy's kiss is just the best!

At just a few hours old, Lewis receives his millionth kiss from his adoring Mummy.

His cheeks are so soft, it is hard to resist kissing him.

Hair like silk and skin like the softest peach, Lewis is just the most darling little thing his Mummy has ever seen.

Truly, "Love at first sight"

Lewis is Baptised

October 2001

Lewis wore the very same Christening Gown his Mummy wore when she was Baptised, all those long years ago!

The gown was made from ivory silk by his great-grandmother (Mummy's Grandma), and has hand-sewn seed pearl bead decorations and embriodered silk flowers running down either side of the front. A pretty silk bonnet, trimmed with ivory lace completes the ensemble.

Doesn't he look cute as a button? "Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth" perhaps, but you should have seen him sneakily trying to grab the Minister's microphone off her jacket during the Service!

Christmas 2001

His mummy enjoyed dressing her baby as Santa, and Lewis took on the role willingly.
